But Shia is supposed to be this supper dooper Catholic. Just a few years ago they were beating us over the head how he found himself in Catholicism when he played some big saint and lived with monks and even had a long conversation with a bishop on YouTube who told him at the beginning "I can talk about anything with you," indicating that Shia was no cafeteria Catholic. How will the Catholic Church react now when he obviously used them to portay himself as a good guy when he isn't? Maybe he should have stayed in the monastery.

Shia LaBeouf’s No Good, Very Bad Weekend Ends in Arrest

Shia LaBeouf had a hectic weekend down in New Orleans, where bartenders and Mardi Gras attendees alike testified to his erratic behavior before he was arrested on February 17 for two charges of simple battery. For those of us of a certain age, the news of LaBeouf popping up at a random bar in a random city and wreaking havoc is borderline old-fashioned. He made a habit of this in the 2010s, making him persona non grata long before his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs sued him for longtime abuse. This past weekend in New Orleans, LaBeouf allegedly tried to play “celebrity bartender” and loudly give out acting advice ahead of the Sunday-night dispute before his eventual arrest early Tuesday.

I had to put this news because it keeps popping up wherever I go and it automatically reminds me of previous intrusive news that informed us about his ventures in Catholicism.

I admire his dedication - it takes a special level of commitment to get yourself arrested during Mardi Gras.
