Are you trying to say "yes" by avoiding to say "yes", because you know exactly what that entails?  You justified OT wars of extinction (= genocide) by being "existential". I asked if its justified to commit genocide in an existential war. Is it justified to commit genocide, ever?

Its a yes/no question. After your "yes" or "no" we can proceed and discuss details, but first we need a clear answer.

Because you need to know the difference between a war and a genocide.

If two sides are on equal footing, and are fighting. Then its a war, not a genocide.
If authorities have all the power, and decide to murder people who cant defend themselves? Then thats a genocide.

I didnt ask you about the definition of genocide, i asked you about justification. You mentioned "existential war" and are now running from your own argument towards "murder people who cant defend themselves". You are not willing to have a honest conversation, thats why you try to derail the conversation by shifting it to a discussion about the difference between war and genocide. So there is that.

Back on topic: We all (you included) know that genocide can not be justifiable, under any context. Your problem is: You had to justify genocide somehow, since your holy book clearly says god ordered and committed genocide. You felt compelled to bite the bullet and justify it. Now, after the fact, you have to avoid addressing this problem of yours. You gave up your humanity and honesty for an ancient book of folklore and thats what we are witnessing here. 

For the last time: Do you think genocide can be justified? Yes, or no?
