I didn't make it past this. I bet he followed the script and talked about how unhappy he was and how he tried alcohol, drugs, or 'worldly' pleasures, but still had a yearning that none of those could fill. Given the similarity between all these 'I used to be an atheist until...' stories, I'm beginning to suspect a script or a single ghost writer.
