The very liberal Zen are very .....human and down to earth. Mainly in Japan only, priests get married and stuff.

I am to understand that "Zen finds you not you it."

Might have another look at Zen Buddhism. I does have alot going for it... if one can stay away from people and their power plays.

yeah something like that. They dont force it, many don't do extreme practices or ceremony or ritual. Many of the older Zen stories portray Zen master just taking their time going through the day doing normal stuff. Witty, can be a jerk but really compassionate. Drinking alcohol and smoking stuff while meditate. Lol I dont know.
