Orhan Pamuk still refuses to apologize, as he received his nobel prize on the accord of his actions, purely political reasons.
He's not even a real Turk anyways.

In sweden, where we respect freedom of opinion, that doesnt matter. You either for freedom of speech or your not. There are no buts. Haha you dont grasp difference do you? Unless?

Obviously, your so-called freedom of speech applies to only a few select people. We at least are not hypocrits, and think that it is important that freedom of speech has it's limits. No certain remark regarding our people will go unpunished in this country. And the least of which was made by someone as Orhan Pamuk, a traitor to his country, although loyalty is the last thing I'd expect from "intellectuals" like him.

If you want to discuss this further i suggest you start a new thread. The starter of this one apparently wanted help from people with some kind of insight in Sweden and its culture. Which you have none what so ever.

I certainly do not have the insight you have, swede, but I've been around Europe, and think that certain things might be quite similar over there.
Besides, have you been to America to state that you are offering indeed better life standards over there?
