Yes I did, one of them from an article in a health magazine was the only one I found to be relevant and worth reading. Menna Dohannrey
is a nutritionist who is suffering from diabetes. Note that the article is "why go vegetarian". This is VASTLY different from a vegan lifestyle, as being a vegetarian merely means the abscence of MEAT in ones diet. thus vegetarians can eat eggs, milk, cheese, etc. She is not a vegetarian for social or moral reasons, but purely for individual health reasons to fight her disease.
The article from PETA was completely ignored becasue they are VEGAN, which is a LIFESTYLE approach. They would not only legislate laws about what i can and cant eat, they would also severely limit Menna Dohannrey's vegetarian diet as well. Vegans are opposed to milk, eggs, even products and medicines that were used to test on animals. Vegans consider eggs murder and milk and cheese to be theft.
You see, Vegans are NOT vegetarians. Vegans are "animal free" in not only what they eat, but in their social, economic, and political views as well.
One view is purely for personal or health reasons
the other view is a lifestyle activism.
I hope I cleared that up...I dont hate vegetarians. Hell, I have gone vegetarian before. Vegans, on the other hand, I disagree with 100%.
