That makes no sense at all dotard - none of those passages condones prosperity theology. To bastardise the meaning doesn't help.
Deuteronomy 8:17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. (8:17-18) "God ... giveth thee power to get wealth."
8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
So God gives you power to get wealth. It came from God. The point is that God gives - wealth and poverty
Ecclesiastes 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
God's gift again
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Why? (Is the point again)
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
