Moonman,
Confession unburden's the soul, how long has it been since your last confession?
I guess the real answer would be that I should talk about being atheist as much as I talk about my hobby of not collecting stamps. There are plenty of other coo coo bird things that people believe and as long as they don't allow their beliefs to affect business or political decisions I am fine with whatever they are into.
We are basically singing from the same hymn sheet, sorry couldn´t resist. Nevertheless, I want to envision a world without this big fat lie being shoved down the necks of children. I shouldn´t have to explain to people why I choose not to christen my son. It used to be practically law in Spain to have a saint´s, or Jeebus´s name. (I met a lady last week called Adoration of Christ) I don´t want to hear church bells at twelve at night when I am up at 6. What would people say if I did something similar with a bullhorn and a book of poetry. I think it is important to voice our concerns about the role of religion in politics, whereas business and religion are synonimous of course. Mr. Obama´s campaign was sullied by racist remarks made by his pastor (I actually could relate to him, I thought he was honest) He and his predecesor along with Blair and Aznar are all devote christians. They broke a few commandments in Iraq. It´s not enough to let these people have society regress to their idea of a puritan paradise. i wish they´d stop using the word god in the inauguration speech, and, most others come to think of it. I enjoy the banter, thanks again
