The city exists, yes but it is changed slightly in location. I did in fact post I picture of the ruins that are still there. As for the ocean, it is possible that waves overtook them at some point. That is something I will also look into further. The bible did not say it would sink the city however I believe is important to remember just that waves of the ocean would overtake them and that does not require permanent sinking.
