3. GOD wants us to be holy, like him. There is a narrow path for good men(Jews, in this case) to follow.
4. Science is verifiable and true.
Scripture cannot always be taken literally, but still contains divine truth. The earth is as old as science says. GOD created man and all seeming ancestors. The flood is a part of the story of salvation indicative of the end.
5. God is not supportive of slavery. The was the nature of man in that day. God did not try to overwhelm man by dictating everything at once.
7. Remember that most of Jesus's miracles were also done by his disciples. This was how the church spread.
8. God shows his face to the faithful.
I hold that 90% of the church does not believe the truth of Jesus's life in their life.
9. This is to indicate how GOD is in everything around us.
10. The true faithful, who swear before GOD, do NOT divorce.

Why is suffering part of this life? What is it's meaning? If god is all powerful and all loving then why would he allow suffering? This seems rather illogical.

You don't require god/religion to be good and moral. This god is nothing more than your imagination. "You" say we are to be holy like your friend in your dream.

So you agree that the earth is 4.5 billion year old? Because this is what science says, also, do you pick parts of scripture that you like the most and call it true and discard the rest? Also the great flood was a natural event not a superstitious one. Religious people of that time looked at everything in a superstitious way.

If this was true, there'd be evidence of it.

Over active imagination is all I can say here.

Evidence please....

Let me correct this -Quote: "The true delusional, who swear before the spaghetti monster, do not divorce.
I think the argument from improbability should certainly be ATLEAST the most important one. ATLEAST The 'core' argument.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
