And theology gives no authority to speak on scientific issues. However, they do, on a regular basis. Far more prevalent in the US, since we tend not to stand for it so much in the UK.

This thread is about evolution cancelling out creationism, and while evolution and geology, and chemistry, and physics cancels out the young earth, apologetics can sit happily on a cloud pretending God started science and is purely metaphysical, and the bible is allegory instead.
Keep your mind on the focus of the thread.
