If the Bible is the literal truth then why does the Catholic church say evolution is the go now? Where does that leave them with the theological aspects of Jesus?
That roman Catholic Church as parted company with the bible along time ago. Their "bible" wears a big hat and a new one gets voted in when the old one dies. I say that to say the bible is a secondary measure of the cannon of scripture for them. They have a living "Apostle/Prophet/emissary" in which to extrapolate direct revelation from God.. Even if it goes against the Literal works of the Holy Spirit, and by all accounts should be deemed as a "new doctrine."
If you read my explanation of Evolution/creation it leaves us right where the bible does. In need of redemption.
