Their efforts could be focused on something much more important like keep ID out of schools.Well, I think that atheists are atheists, and theists are theists...
Religion also has a social nature, whereas atheism is more of a personal belief. Seeing things like this makes me think that the nature of atheism changes from a personal way of thinking, to a collective way of thinking.
And that collectiveness seems to only be unfolding in the USA. Weird, I've never seen such a thing anywhere else on earth.
Quote:I get what your saying but at the same time you can't be fine with people blessing public property and then criticize another group for unblessing it. Why they did it is irrelevant. They do not *criticize* them, I think, because they think that atheists do not have the power to unbless the road they blessed in the name of Jesus.
They just think that this is not a criticism towards the blessing of the road, it's a type of criticism towards the people who blessed the road.
So this is not a blessing-unblessing thingy. Both parties know that eachother's efforts are in vain, so what's the point?
Besides, blessing private property does not really change the fact that it's still private property, and that my car can equally go over the road as a christians', while a christian will not forbid me to use the road.
