Just one nagging question. Is this John Wesley in the bible? If not, that's a mistake right there, cuz that dude sounds totally righteous.
John Wesley, together with his brother, Charles, started the Methodist movement. My signature means that the bible is correct in all aspects - there is absolutely nothing wrong with any verses there. John Wesley mentioned that if the bible has even a single mistake, then it could be totally refutted as false - glad that is not the case.
Just one? There are plenty but I will supply just one and we shall see if you hold to your word and say the bible is false.
1 Kings 4:26 Wrote:And Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots, and 12,000 horsemen
2 Chronicles 9:25 Wrote:"Now Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem
There you have an error. If you read both chapters to get the correct context you will easily see that they are not referring to two different times. If you want to argue that it was a copyist error, besides providing evidence that is the case, it is an error in either event.
There, you had your requirement for one error met. Now do you say the bible is false or are you going to do the christotard retreat?
