While an individual might be "born" without inherent knowledge, religion can still take root very quickly. We can see causality in action every day and when considering things without an apparent cause, our minds won't hesitate in providing with imaginary ones. That does not mean that the individual would lean towards one religion or another - why, he may come up with a religion of his own. However, religion here would be the result of limited knowledge and any leanings, even if such existed, would still be wrong.
