Lol, could change our lives forever. . . what are they hoping for? That god will change they way their friend or relative thinks? They wouldn't even be themself any more. And it's a violation of free will.
And yes, fundies, yes it is. Unless god uses non-mystical means to simply provide proof of his existence, then he is affecting free will by making people believe in him, and even just by "opening their minds", he changes who they are, by effect cutting a big chunk off of their personality- the part that would have been used to think rationally and catch bullshit.
