I played in high school.

Worst injury I saw was a broken femur. (thigh) The'crack' could be heard all over the field. I often went home with sprig marks up my back or a corked thigh.

My position was "ruck/rover" ( then resting in the back left pocket) I followed the ball, and went (jumped) for the ball when it was bounced. Hence the sprig marks on the back.

Best ever was playing our teachers, just the once. Arrogant bastards,we massacred them. Big Grin.
