And god couldn't think of a better way that doesn't involve the need for a sacrifice or the existence of a hell? It tells me that he's either incompetent, malicious or is not all knowing. I reckon all three.
I can understand it alright, it's just that it doesn't make any sense.
Also you didn't answer my question, if god can lose and not regain something then he certainly isn't all powerful, so how does that work?. Also you failed to answer my question about 'purity'. What is it and why is it necessary? Why must it matter?
Purity = righteousness, perfection, absolutely moral, pure goodness and ect. There was no necessity, it is who God is, period. It matters because if God was not who he claims to be then we should not trust Him.
You need to stop your circular reasoning, please move in a straight line, your understanding of God is a fail. You want God to give up something, then turn around and say He is not omnipotent if He does not recover what He lost (circular), stop it. For God to give up something He did not have to says a lot for His omnipotence. The power to give it (purity) up and yet retain His integrity now that's power.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
