I've never understood phenomenology either.One of my proffesors, a brilliant loon,described himself as ' a Marxist phenomenologist ( ?) which confused me.Knowing Bruce that was probably the point.
However,I think you just described solipism. If not, perhaps some one will explain the difference to me. I'm still confused.
