Lacking a belief doesn't mean you must first be aware of it. A child before they become aware of religious belief does lack it. The statement is true. Before I even heard of this 'god' I did lack that belief. It's just I lacked belief later on because I was aware of it and found it most unconvincing and improbable.
Atheism is a lack of belief in gods, there has to be a belief in gods for you to lack.
If there was no theists there would be no atheists.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
