All other parts of the bible stress repentance, following the commandments and overcoming (as in 1 John and the Apocolypse).
3)Believing God was counted as a sign, or confirmation, of Abraham’s righteousness, not a onetime thought providing eternal security. Consider the plight of those that ‘blaspheme the Holy Spirit.’
