I agree with that, Epi, but we just wanted to make it a lot bigger and better (hence we started earlier).

I think that especially the sock puppets One King, YahwehIsTheWay, and Niqabi Ninja (mine) made the most number of posts before April 1st. I agree that those of us who had those accounts kind of overdid the preparation. This was more of an execution than preparation, but I think it was partly composed of both because we saved the best ideas for April 1st. Atheist Anarchist, LittleMissAwesome, and Bueller, however, were used sparingly before the final day. And the Star Trek ones were created on the first day of April (which is the latest). So, I think those sock puppets were okay in that aspect of the prank.
The reason I posted a couple of threads before April 1st was because I wanted to let people know what kind of a personality and opinions that my sock puppet had. As some of you already know, I posted an intro thread and a few more topics with that account and, later on, I got the idea of pretending to leave the forum on April 1st after creating a last and final thread (which is this one). I was just going along with whatever ideas that were popping into my head. However, I thought that maybe I won't have too much time to make all those posts/threads in a single day, that's why I decided to spread it out, and post the most dramatic thread at the end (which is what I did).
Again, I admit that I was Poe-ing around too much before April 1st. Do I regret it? No.
Whatever happened, I still think it was a good prank and a lot of the members enjoyed it. Also, I tried to keep it humorous as much as possible and avoid preaching.
