i don't believe in a god in the way that there's some omni-present guy in the sky who's morals and values we must follow and they'll decide if we live to hump virgins or live a utopian afterlife. however, "i don't know" if there's another dimension in the universe which, to us, would fall under the supernatural (being that 3 dimensions are *natural* to us). personally, i've seen a ghost 3 times in my life. sure, it could be a mindphuk and i really didn't see anything. sure also, the term could be other than ghost - let's not do semantics. nothing tells me that there couldn't be another dimension passing thru ours and i got to witness it for a minute or so before it left (ours).
i've read and i can't find a post directly related to this, so i'm asking outright. do any of you believe in ghosts/spirits/unnatural anything and still consider yourself atheist or agnostic?
Being an atheist just means you do not have a belief in god. What in that definition precludes any other belief?
