They do know how to act like adults which is why you haven't had anywhere near the rough ride you would have had at other atheist forums.
The problem is that you seem to be here on a mission to share your views of the bible with everyone and to be honest, they're really not interested. You see, we've heard it all before, countless times. You may think that you have some sort of unique perspective but then so does every other theist who's come on here.
This approach can be seen as rather arrogant as you don't seem to have any desire to learn about us as atheists, what makes us tick or why we think the way we do. Rather you simply want to impose your views on us instead.
If I go to a Christian forum I ask them questions and try to understand them. I certainly don't assume they want to know all about me and my views. Not unless I'm asked that is.
It would be far better if you approached this forum from the point of view of understanding and learning rather than teaching, but, if all you want to do is talk about yourself and your personal interpretation of the bible then perhaps this is not the place to do it.
Personally I would rather you stayed and learnt about us and then maybe we could learn about you.
