A Sri Lankan woman faces the death penalty in Saudi Arabia after a man accuses her of casting a spell on his daughter.
And? She'll probably get free after international pressure anyways.
Lets fuckin' hope so.
There is always some trial in Saudi Arabia, highly publicized, all the while less publicized trials take place in NATO occupied Afghanistan, where far, far far worse things happen to people, administered by the Taliban. And they are not as rich as the fuckin' Saudis, either.
What is the international scene doing there? What is the NATO doing for those people over there? I'm fairly certain that this witch won't even need international pressure-they'll probably release her.
Hopefully the public can turn his heads from certain distractions that are put before their eyes to the real brutality that takes place. But I guess it won't do.
Sometimes I think that the Saudis receive orders to prosecute people for stupid shit like that so it'll get international attention, petitions, and UN resolutions.
