I worked with a strict vegan for years.He was a swizel stick. Pleasant enough chap, but a bit odd.
THEN he married a saner person. Wife was more pneumatic than swizel stick and put end to that. Swizel stick began eating meat again---and was very ill. Without meat,the bug in the gut needed to digest it die.
Is this just? My perception is that to claim that [in principle] not eating meat is moral is an attempt at an absolute moral imperative.
