I actually didn't mean to open the flood gates on our new 'Jesus lover' (can't help but grin), I just genuinely want to know how someone can truly love someone that died for them 2000 years ago and only stayed dead for a couple days before spending the next 2000 years in paradise.
I mean, I at least can understand why he worships him, as I once did too, but I'll never understand the love portion.
How can you possibly love a 2000 year old corpse turned paradise exile?
What I think is that you can call it love, but that it isn't really love at all.
I assume you read the Bible?? Because it disagrees with this concept.
Please see Matthew 13:40-43 NASB

Matthew Wrote:40 So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the [a]end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom [b]all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, [c]let him hear.
