I don't know if he's right but I do think it is fair to consider the possibility that MS or their representatives think that is so (at least concerning Asians), otherwise why bother?

As I said before, the company decided that a Polish office with a black person in it would be highly implausible and not give the feel of a Polish office. This is an advert to promote the use of their software in Poland. It makes sense to make the picture more likely to be set in a Polish office. Had they used a similar picture for Japan an Asian man or woman would have been photoshopped in the middle.
