I have spent a lengthy period of time analysing life from a philosophical, religious and scientific perspective. I have dabbled with Christianity on several occasions, I have also dabbled with other religions such as Buddhism, Pantheism and Atheism. Although I do have psychotic depression and am susceptible to false perceptions, I have an extreme level of self-awareness, and I have been having some very intense spiritual experiences in relation to God and Jesus Christ; I can no longer deny my belief in the profound nature of Christ.
I must admit it is a radical departure from scientific realism and atheism (and I was a staunch atheist), but my recent feelings have been so profound that I can no longer attribute them to anything other than God.
I know science discards anecdotal evidence as meaningless and unreliable; however, I now know that Christianity leads to a much greater and more profound level of truth than the scientific method could ever accomplish, particularly in the areas of emotional wisdom and morality.
When did you "convert?"
