Try to exercise your critical thinking skills before spewing idiotic pro-meat bollox. It's okay if you like to kill and eat dudes, but there's no excuse for sounding like a dummo.
It seems that every vegetarian who comes to this site says that. Most people eat meat, and this is not a vegetarian site, so... do the math. Ya know, use that "logic" you keep talking about.

My instinct disagrees, it does need to be meat.

You say that your intention is to just get us to not use bad arguments, but then you keep going on about the morality of eating meat. You can't exactly give logical reasons why something is immoral. Are you arguing from a logical standpoint, or an ethical standpoint; the two don't really mix. There is nothing "logical" about not causing harm to animals.
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."
