Well, let's try to de-ignoratize you.
Quote:My use of the word "shemale" could be offensive, I suppose. If that's the case, I'm sincerely sorry. At the time, I wasn't aware it was derogatory. Was there anything else, aside from stating that I wouldn't have sex with a transexual? (I'm not going to apologize for that, for the same reason I wouldn't expect a homosexual woman to apologize for refusing to have sex with me.)
Oh my goodness, you've done it again. 'Shemale' is derogatory, but that isn't what pissed me off. There's more to a person than what's between their legs. Following is an examination of the 'highlights' of the first post you made in this thread.
Quote:Most likely not, if by shemale you mean a male who takes estrogen and resembles a female but still possesses a penis.
RESEMBLES?! They *are* women. Their possession of a penis means about as much as any woman with a strapon dick... only we can't take it off so easily. It's also a higher quality strapon... complete with heat, ejaculation (haha... notsomuch), generates its own aroma, and goes from soft to hard and back again.
As if the possession of a penis de-resembles a woman from being such... I'd never heard this claim before this thread...
And yes, I am fully aware of the difference between sex and gender. However... I am equally aware of just how misleading and open to misinterpretation that calling a transwoman 'male' is. Resembling something isn't being something... and suggesting that transwomen resemble other women suggests they are a facade, not real, illusory, as fake as a strapon.
Quote:I'm not gay, not that it really matters. I fully support gay rights, I'm just not interested in sex with a person who is physically a dude.
We're talking about transWOMEN. And you even bring up homosexuality?! "I'm not gay" (suggesting that the person is not attractive to them due to not being gay) in response to a thread about women (a specific group of them)... how would you imagine any other woman would feel about that?
PHYSICALLY A DUDE?! FFS... breasts, soft skin, lacking of body hair... that's sure as fuck physically a dude. Why is a penis that much more 'physically a dude' than her breasts, skin, significantly lower body hair, changes in body odor and sweat production, reduced testes size, lightened hair, reduced muscles, and enlarged nipples and areola... put together? Saying that a transwoman (even top models like Brazil's) are 'physically dudes' is an oversimplified stance to take. And calling any transwoman a man is quite likely very offensive to that woman.
Hell, I went from Epic Lilly to depression within a week of having to deal with constantly being misgendered. Eventually it's grating to the point that I don't talk to anyone who does it, and even actively avoid them if they are nearby.
Quote:If a person of the male sex had trans-gender surgery to become, for all intents and purposes, female, then yes, I would have sex with aforementioned person.
For all intents and purposes... like birth... or vaginal juices... or a non-enlarged adams apple... or shoulders that aren't spread so wide... or smaller hands and/or feet... or a jaw that isn't so sharp and square... or a brow that isn't so jutting and wide...?
Different women have different challenges... unfortunately: many transgendered women end up having to spend massive amounts to undo what testosterone has done to them. And some things... like birth... cannot be had by us with current technology.
And apparently regardless of how much you like them (even love them)... you wouldn't treat them like any other woman you liked that much. And that's heartbreaking.
