Not at all for three reasons.
1. The Space Race ended 20 (30 to 40 could be argued) years ago and there is not as much reason for the government to devote a large portion of the GDP on it.
2. NASA has royally screwed up time and time again....why should we continue to finance failure?
3. If the reason was to disprove God merely because we could not find God in the cosmos, that issue would have ended with Yuri.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
