Thinking that is fine,what is not fine is asserting that belief as fact and judging those who do not share that belief. This may come as a shock,but the rest Christendom rejects the infallibility of the Pope,even when he is speaking ex cathedra,which he is not in this case.

Yes.;it's an ignorant and bigoted thing to say as a general principle. However, I think demonstrably true in many weak and credulous people,who replace rational thought with a dogma lacking compassion. I do not include you in that group.
