Lol, yeah it is hard to un-believe in souls when the memories of being outside my body and meeting entities exists in my head. I hold those beliefs in a section of my brain that accepts "maybe logic", an idea put forth by one of my favorite writers, Robert Anton Wilson. I've read a bunch of Aleister Crowley too, and his ideas about magic and reality are interesting.
Just remember that belief is a spectrum and my belief in souls, spirits, and whatever other kooky crap I have stored in my synapses are low on that spectrum. I also still get gifts from Santa. I don't believe in him but I do enjoy the extra present exchange (I get my mom a santa present sometimes).
