What, and become as obnoxious as the opposing party? Oddly enough, in my experience the best teachers are the ones not forcing their subject onto their pupils, but rather let's them learn themselves.
And btw, preaching atheism can't be done. What more can one really say on the topic than "There is no god"? Now that doesn't make for good conversation..

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human.
