Oh I think I see now, the NWO spends billions of dollars and years of effort to lull the public, and the money-shot of the whole affair is their utter annihilation. Yeah, probably not a very likely scenario. Again, insurgency would be the answer -especially if your enemies had the will and means to annihilate you-. Sounds to me like you've decided, before the first bullet flies, to just roll over. Well, forgive me for hoping that you don't end up being the best that humanity has left to offer in the event of your ridiculous little apocalypse scenario.
My preparedness, lol, for what? I have plenty of guns (and I don't need a book to tell me what to do with em, I used to pull the trigger for a living amigo, MOUT NCOIC as well, double bonus). I also grow food for a living. Heres the kicker though, I'm not so naive as to think that either of things go any way towards ensuring my survival in a situation even remotely approaching the one you've put forward. Step back for a moment and swallow the hero narrative. You really expect to survive what you fear by banding together with 9 guys, 6 girls, some del monte fruit and a handful of books ala "Trapping the Grey Squirrel"? I mean, more power to you, dare to dream and all that....but it isn't likely. Hell, if all we're doing is daydreaming, howsabout you work up a better daydream than run-and-hide in the first place?
(look, I have a soft spot for bunker games, survivor stories, etc, but if you're considering whatever strange situation you've managed to dream up as a sort of impending reality than perhaps you should start taking it seriously (doubly so if you expect others to take it-and you- seriously)? Stocking up on food and imagining far flung agrarian colonies -removed from the oppressive boot of the machine- is fantasy. Now don't get me wrong, you may be one of those rare individuals that could live out your entire life like a rat, but I doubt it. Isn't it more likely that you'd find yourself wandering into the collaborator or resistance camps? Well, you won't need your green beans or your books (or your wilderness focused sewing circle) to be a collaborator, and the resistance camp will always be about a will (and ability) to fight. I'd suggest practicing your "Yes comrades" or your squad level firing drills, not your dewey decimal system for organizing canned goods. That's all amigo.)
