With regards to actual terrorists in the GITMO:
For the ones that are guilty and convicted, should they not be locked up in our most secure facilities, where they cannot get free?
I am a little confused over what security having a prison set in another country brings other than a legal gray zone.
Are our best prisons deficient for holding criminals of the worst kind?
Or is the property of 'terrorist' make one suddenly more unholdable (in our own prisons) than any domestic terrorist we've had to date (McVeigh, Unabomber, et al)?
What real security threat is there that does not exist already in and on the US borders?
Also, everyone, cut out the personal attacks and sniping. This thread has gone childish over a high level topic.
Y'all are adults. That means "she/he did it first" doesn't excuse one when one fires back.
