Techtard recommendations.

I'm a total techtard who can only switch on a computer and surf the net............ ok i can do a bit more, but not that much and im interested in programming.
I was wondering if our house techgods know of any free programming tuition videos/courses as i'd like to learn. It's slightly weird that my dad only got his first computer about 15 years ago, but he's the professional programmer and im a dribbler. Dang, im old before my pop.
edit: I haven't asked my dad as i'm moving in 2 months to the other side of the country.
