With the advice already, and this just your introductory thread.

Trying to establish some sort of knowing authority so early in our relationship, will not make you look reasonable. Now that is also a hint.

I thought it was good advice - along the lines of ;
...dont give the appearance of trying to circumvent word count limits in the debate by posting stuff OUTSIDE the actual debate thread during the debate.

I think his point is that you've just shown up here and already you're handing everyone advice. I haven't been here so long myself, but I can tell you that the people here don't like that very much.
