1 - There is no reason to believe the christ actually lived - there is NO mention of him in ANY document that can be dated to his supposed time.
2 - Most of the bible is embellished religious myth -
Virtually ALL of the Old Testament has NO basis in fact and cannot be supported by archeology or actual history
Example - if a GREAT FLOOD did happen - then the Kingdom of Egypt and its language would have ceased to exist - and yet - we have continuous records showing that did not happen. A flood of the claim of the bible would have left NO human created building standing and the salt from the water would have prevented plant growth to well beyond today - and that never happened. THERE was no Jericho at that time of that claim. Nazareth was a cemetery at the time of the christ. 3 - Whoever concocted the bible fairy tales of the New Testament show a complete lack of knowledge of the Jewish religion. The story of the christ actually did NOT fullfill most of the prophecies of the Bible for the Mesiah - and the christ would have been considered a false prophet by the religion.
THe idea that the Jewish religious leaders would have let a false prophet into the temple of Jerusalem to "teach" is about equivalent to the POPE allowing a Muslim leader teach in the Vatican Sistine Chapel. THere are lots of other problems with the bible - but what is clear is that is is nothing more than ancient MYTH and LEGEND
