Why? I was speaking of practicality of the kind which allowed mass migration. In my opinion,economics alone preclude such a likelihood possibly for centuries.
The notion of our descendents arriving at a new destination is I think romantic nonsense. As for stasis, I have concerns about atrophy,but really don't know enough to reach an informed opinion.
I'm not really interested in fanciful speculation,but in the pragmatic. A scientific illiterate, I really don't know what is likely in say the next 200 years.--that's assuming our species survives, which is by no means certain.
