I would just point out that being a parent (note, parent, not mother) is sometimes mind-numbing. Think about staying home with an infant... The child demands 100% of your attention (if you don't give them your full attention, your belongings will be trashed and the child may come to harm), you are forced to play peek-a-boo for the millionth time, you have no adults around to converse with... It can suck. It can be monotonous and dull. But it can also be amazing. Most dangerous job in the world? No. But it is an important one.
