What the fuck, man? Blacks magically appeared? That's more than a little ethnocentric. Why do you think that Adam & Eve were white?

As to your bigger question, I really don't see what the problem is. And I say that as an anti-theist. It's a book of mythology mixed (loosely) with fact, of questionable historical integrity. Like many other novels. Unless you're being expected to believe it, or adhere to it, treat it the same as an exercise to read The Iliad.
