I do not believe life, including human life, exists for an ultimate non-man-made purpose. So I think its more scientific to ask "How?" rather than "Why?"

All I know is we are here. I don't share the arrogant faith perspective that demands the question why we are here and for what purpose? Why should there be a purpose?
We exist, then we cease to exist. That's enough for me.
