I've done some light googling given his email address and potential names, along with the term of where he lives.

There is nothing of recent import that I can find that would imply him being in the news, for any reason.

I sent a message via one of my subaccounts -- I hope he doesn't find it an intrusive bother.

10 days seems short enough for a well deserved holiday though.

I'm confident Pad is doing just fine...
