i find the idea that the atheist community is a monolithic completly undiverse block very insulting.
atheism does not follow any dogma and certainly not a leaderfigure who preaches some dogma, what differs atheism from organised religions is the rational thought process required by each individual to become a atheist, each atheist is a individual who has different points of view on different issues.
the catholic church has one leading figure determening the dogma wich all catholics have to follow. - and that is one big reason amongst the various reasons why i reject it.
