You claimed that God existed.

Well, at least you know how to do sarcasm.
Quote:Often, it seems like atheists only get to debate with fanatical Christians, who have a weird book and a lot of weird ideas to try to defend. At least, that's most of what I can find on youtube. Most of the default religion-is-so-stupid stuff comes from people disgusted with Christianity.
Often, things are not what they seem. Do you know every teenager in the world because you saw a few on youtube? Are the Christians on youtube representative of Christianity as a hole? I debate with other atheists and disagree with them all the time. In fact, I know some atheists who are seriously fucking stupid. I know some Christians who are brilliant and sweet. You are talking about antitheism. That is not atheism.
Quote:I got saved from the Bible, though, so maybe that's a little more fun for you people, I don't know.
Urg. "You people." You just drew a line. Way to go.
Quote:I'm happy to get to know you and stuff. Sorry my questions offended you so badly and make you think I'm so horrible, right from the start.
You didn't. I just come off as a bitch. You'll either get used to it or hate me. Either way, I'm too old to change and it's one of the few things I like about myself.
Quote:I do know the Big Bang theory doesn't claim something comes from nothing.
That's not what you said, though.
Quote:But in that case, I still think there are troublesome gaps in theorizing a godless universe. Please, teach me I'm wrong.
First, please explain how a god universe gets rid of those gaps. You said that something can't come from nothing, but that is what Creationism is. God creating something out of nothing, yes?
