I haven't offered you any evidence for anything, nor have I claimed to. I feel like I've hardly said anything, but that you've already taken any small thing in a really bad way.

Often, it seems like atheists only get to debate with fanatical Christians, who have a weird book and a lot of weird ideas to try to defend. At least, that's most of what I can find on youtube. Most of the default religion-is-so-stupid stuff comes from people disgusted with Christianity.

Often, things are not what they seem. Do you know every teenager in the world because you saw a few on youtube? Are the Christians on youtube representative of Christianity as a hole? I debate with other atheists and disagree with them all the time. In fact, I know some atheists who are seriously fucking stupid. I know some Christians who are brilliant and sweet. You are talking about antitheism. That is not atheism.

I got saved from the Bible, though, so maybe that's a little more fun for you people, I don't know.

First, please explain how a god universe gets rid of those gaps. You said that something can't come from nothing, but that is what Creationism is. God creating something out of nothing, yes?

I said I believe God exists, that I'm a theist. I hadn't given my evidence for God's existence.

When I said "you people" I meant people on this "Atheists Forum." I wasn't trying to imply everyone here is the same, with the same ideas. Please try to give me the benefit of the doubt, at least a little bit.

I didn't bring up the term "Big Bang theory." You did. I mentioned that I think it's difficult to figure out why anything exists at all - and I think that goes for both a godless universe and a universe based on God. In other words, it's problem however you look at it. I don't think it's a simple obvious point that anyone can easily explain away.

Although, please, change my mind about that.

We have energy that just is or we have an intelligent energy that just is. Which makes more sense?

Great comment. In the case of having dumb energy that just is, how do you get consciousness? Like how does dumb matter and energy become human consciousness?
