A person who is legal property of another and is forced to obey them. That is what slavery means... and 'minors' are legal property of their guardians. I do not slap in the face anyone: a slaveholder
You are the one in need of a reality check, as you imagine slavery to automatically be terrible... It often is... but this is not true universally. Far from it... in the example of the slavery that still occurs in the USA (People owning children): This can in uncommon cases be a good thing. More often than not: slavery is almost benign. Far more rarely: slavery is a good thing.
You see... humans are not just some substance to be owned... anything that can choose for itself has the right of not being owned... to do so is an infringement upon the right to choose. That is all slavery is... and it is horrible for that reason.
