Now would you do the same for someone elses bastard spawn who hates you undermines everything you do, who wishes ill on your family, curses your children personally, and leads others to do so as well? Would you risk your life for and provide for someone who has killed one of your kids? Would you consider this kid your son even after you look past all of the transgressions this bastard committed against you and your family (the death of your only son) And yet he still hated and lashed out at you every single chance he got?
